The ' Fortius' was detained at Kocaeli Port on Dec 12 under the Mediterranean MoU due to ten defiencies found during a detailed inspection, two of which were being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Fire safety - Fire detection and alarm system Not as required 2) Fire safety - Evaluation of crew performance Lack of familiarity The vessel was released again on Dec 13 (2 days) and shifted to Tuzla on Dec 14, next destined to Constanta with an ETA as of Dec 16.
