Master and chief arrested for contraband oil
The master and the chief engineer of the "AB Vela" were arrested on Sep 14, 2015, in Thessaloniki for alleged fuel contraband. Nine tons of heavy oil and five tons of diesel oil had not been declared. Later both have been released under surety. The vessel was docked in Thessaloniki.
