Barge damaged in collision
On Dec 11, 2017, at 6.30 a.m. the "Enjoy", 2505 ts (EU-No.: 02329914; IMO: 9468346) was damaged in a collision on the Rhine near Weißenthurm. The accident happened when the tank barge was about to dock at a berthed barge to take a vehicle on board. When another barge passed the site, the moring lines broke, and the "Enjoy" drifted towards the fairway where it hit another barge which was sailing river downstream. All three ships suffered damage, the bow of the "Enjoy" suffered dents at the port side bow and was detained after the accident. On Dec 12 she berthed at the BASF port in Mannheim.
