Medevac off Shoreham
The Shoreham RNLI boat was called out to the 'Mandraga' in the morning of March 15, 2020, at 9.40 a.m. after a crew member had fallen ill and needed to be medevaced. The ship, enroute from Porsgrunn to Ceuta, was about eight miles south east of Shoreham when the decision was made to call for help. Crews attended and took the man on a stretcher to the lifeboat, which proceeded to Brighton Marina where he was transferred into the care of the ambulance service.
