Damage to anchor windlass gear box
The 'Serena R.' suffered damages to the starboard side anchor windlass gear box, when the vessel inadvertently dropped its anchor and two shackles of chain into the water in the Strait of Georgia, while underway to Vancouver, in position 49 13 34.2 N, 123 49 10.2 W, on Jan 23, 2020, at 2 p.m. The vessel moored near Snake Island using its port side anchor. On Jan 27 at 3.20 a.m. it berthed in Vancouver.
