Detention in Durres
The 'Emerald' was detained in Durres on Feb 9, 2026 after its arrival from Istanbul, by Mediterranean MoU inspectors. The vessel underwent a detailed inspection, revealing three deficiencies. The checks covered the accommodation area and the galley, the engine room and the navigation bridge, outside decks and the forecastle as well as the steering room, while fire drills and emergency fire pump operations were carried out by the crew. The ship was released after a re-inspection and left the port on Feb 11, next headed to the Russian port Azov with an ETA as of Feb 23.
