Grounding on Rio Uruguay
Sailing towards Concepción del Uruguay, the "Filyoz", which had sailed from La Plata on Oct 21, 2018, at 7 a.m., got outside the fairway due to a bad maneuver at 5 p.m. on the Rio Uruguay. As the ship was unable to refloat with own power, tugs were called from Buenos Aires. The tanker got stuck at kilometer 177, south of Cambacua Island, in pos. Position 32° 33.47' S 058° 10.68' W. The ship whad a crew of 15 on board, all of Argentine nationality, and was loaded with 3,799 tons of hydrocarbon derivatives (1,638 tons of super naphtha, 459 tons of infinia naphtha and 2,902 tons of diesel oil.
