Yacht of Santiano violinist Pete Sage raised in Kiel Bight
On March 29, 2023, the 'Elisabeth Hoej' raised the wreck of the yacht 'Inis' (MMSI: 232040682) of the violinist Pete Sage of the band Santiano off the Schönberg Beach. Divers patched a leak in the foreship with a leak sail, before the boat was towed to Laboe in the evening and lifted out of the water. The police boat 'Falshöft' secured the salvage operation. An investigation into the cause of the sinking in the Kiel Bight on March 24 was launched.
