Grounding on Paraná river
In the morning of March 13, 2020, the 'Ferni H' ran aground on the right bank of the Paraná river downstream from Puerto Paraná in the estuary, following an engine breakdown. The tanker was refloated the same day and anchored upstream from the grounding site. It was en route from San Martin, Paraná, to Zona Comun in the Rio Del La Plata, with 16,000 tons of gasoil on board. On March 15 it moored on the La Plata Anchorage in pos. 34° 44.97' S 057° 49.26' W.
