Crew member lost fingers in accident
In the late evening of Aug 24, 2019, a Vietnamese crew member of the "Elegant SW" was severly injured when the ship berthed at the pier of the Stahl Works Bremen at Terminal 1 assisted by threed tugs. When droppig the stern towing wire this got tension, and the 29 year old man lost a number of fingers. After initial treatment on board he was transported to a special hospital. The police Bremen launched an investigation.
