Feed-Rana

The 'Feed Rana' arrived at Paljassaare Harbour, Tallinn, at on Dec 19, at 11 a.m. to undergo repairs to ots bottom plating on its starboard side. Repairs were expected to take around three weeks in dry dock. The ship had suffered a bottom touch and a leak in its hull in position 64 52 28.2N 011 17 15E, on Dec 8. On Jan 19, 2020, the 'Feed Rana' had completed its repair works and sailed from Tallinn for Kotka, at 09.30 a.m. with an ETA as of Jan 25.

The 'Feed Rana' ran aground off Rørvik in Trøndelag on its way into the port on Dec 8, 2019, at 11.30 p.m., in pos. 64 52 28.2 N, 011 17 15 E. The police was notified at 12.30 a.m. The hull was breached, and the ship suffered water ingress. The ship was berthed at the quay in Rørvik and will be investigated by the Accident Investigation Board during the day. The ship had sailed from Haugesund on Dec 6. The vessel left Rørvik again on Dec 10 at 9.45 a.m., bound to Stokmarknes where she berthed from Dec 11 at 9 a.m. until Dec 12 at 9.10 p.m. and then headed to Tallinn where she arrived on Dec 19 at 10 a.m. and docked at the Netaman Shipsrepair OÜ.
