Engine damage off Karanlık Liman
The 'Gas Catalina' suffered an engine failure in front of Karanlık Liman during the transit of the Dardanelles, en route from Larnaca to Ukraine, on Nov 29, 2025. The tanker dropped anchor in pos. 40° 01' N 026° 17' E and was secured by a tug. The damage was repaired under the coordination of the Çanakkale Ship Traffic Services Center.
