Anchor dragged in storm
On Jan 24, 2025, the ' BG Jade', moored in the Belfast, was ordered to start its engines to be able to manoeuvre, as the anchor had started dragging in stormy weather conditions, and the ship started drifting towards the ferry ' Stena Vision'.
Disabled container vessel under tow to Bremerhaven
The 'Elbtrader' which had been disabled due to an engine failure in the English Channel South of the Isle of Wight on Dec 12 enroute from Rotterdam to Dublin with a crew of 12 on board, and which was pulled to Southampton by the tug 'Apex' subsequently, left the container terminal of DP World after discharge of containers under tow of the Cyprus flagged tug 'Mustang'( IMO: 9555383) on Dec 16 at 3.20 p.m. The convoy was headed to Bremerhaven and arrived at the Bredo Shipyard on Dec 19 at 7.45 p.m.
