Grounding on Paraná river
The 'Federal Tiber' ran aground on the Paranà River at kilometer 310 in the Ramallo area on March 19, 2020, at 7.50 p.m. The bulkcarrier was proceeding upstream bound from Sept Iles to San Nicolas with a cargo of ore. The ship managed to refloat by own means within half an hour and resumed sailing. The ship was anchored at San Nicolas de Los Arroyos on March 20 at 2 p.m.
