Tanker boarded by perpetrators
Three perpetrators attempted to board the 'Nijinsky' in position lat 36 45 00N, long 003 04 00E, at berth No.37/2 in Algiers by using the forward mooring lines, while it was discharging cargo, on Dec 13, 2019, at 5.30 a.m. As the alarm was raised, the perpetrators fled the vessel and escaped. The crew members conducted a stowaway search and confirmed that there was no sign of unauthorized persons on board. The incident was reported to the Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO), who boarded the vessel to monitor the situation.
