The crew of the "Eleousa Trikoukiotis " which is stuck in Ghent since June 6, 2011, with engine trouble has finally received their salaries. The ship will be towed to 's Gravendeel (Rotterdam) as soon as there is an agreement with the Maltese flag state and the Shipping Control. Then, the shipping agent Wallem Group Limited (Hong Kong), will put up the ship for sale.

The twelve crew members of the " "Eleousa Trikoukiotis" which is stuck in Ghent since early June will have to stay aboard until August 5. This was decided after consultation between the crew and the Port of Ghent Authority. The ship is seized since July 20. The owner of the ship has made ​​money available for fuel for the generator so that electricity for heating, lighting and refrigerators is available.
