Collision with trawler
On July 13, 2014, at 7.50 a.m. the "Front Nord" was in collision with the fishing vessel "Moorea" from Croisic about 30 km west of Noirmoutier in the Bay of Biscy. One of the five fishermen was injured and had to be medevaced by the SNSM lifeboat "SNS 203 - La Côte d’Amour" from Pornichet at 9.45 a.m. and taken to shore. The "Front Njord" remained undamaged and continued the journey to a refinery in Donges (Loire-Atlantique). The trawler suffered some damage above the waterline and returned to Croisic. The causes of the collision was still unknown.
