Propulsion loss in Zulu Sea
On March 8, 2022, the 'Eike Oldendorff' notified the Gabinete de Investigação de Acidentes Marítimos e da Autoridade para a Meteorologia Aeronáutica (GAMA) in Lison of loss of propulsion which required towing assistance. The GAMA has already started the procedures for collecting evidence for analysis and has notified the European Commission through the EMCIP platform. No injuries or pollution resulted from the incident. On March 11 at 8 a.m. the ship was moored on Tarakan ancorage in pos. 03° 15.15 N 117° 49.07' E.
