Grounding in Svendborg
The "Famita" ran aground on Dec 23, 2017, at 10 p.m. in Svendborg while entering port. The grounding was caused by a mechanical malfunction and strong wind. The ship was refloated on Dec 24 at 2 a.m. with tug assistance, and taken to port, where she was berthed at 02.30 a.m. at the Østre Quay, had arrived at Svendborg coming from Hausvig. It left the port again after surveys and unloading on Dec 25 at 5.40 p.m., bound for Mandal, ETA Dec 27.
