Ferry allided with quay
The 'Eidsfjord', serving on the route Anda-Lote, allided with the quay in Anda on Dec 10, 2024, at 8.16 p.m. Due to the impact, a fender panel came loose and was lying in the water. The 'Mesta' was called from Sogndal to recover it and put it back in place. After an inspection, the connection was up and running again at 9.30 p.m, but was closed again later the evening for further improvements. On Dec 11 at 07.07, Vegtrafikksentralen West announced that the connection has been suspended until further notice due to technical problems with the ferry quay at Lote. During the afternoon, Fjord1 reported that there would be normal operations on the route at 4 p.m. However, due to the work on the ferry quay, the following departures were canceled on Dec 12: Departure Anda at 01:00 a.m. and 02:00 a.m. Departure Lote at 12:45 a.m. and 01:45 a.m. It will be normal operation in the connection after this, reported Fjord1.
