Alfa-007

Two crew members of the 'Alfa 007' which is in quarantine near Guayaquil were transferred to a health facility after presenting respiratory problems on April 2, 2020. The ship was moored between buoy 68 and buoy 69 under the jurisdiction of the Captaincy of the Port of Guayaquil, after observations made by the health authority that detected people on board with different symptoms such as acute pharyngitis, dengue, influenza, common cold and bronchial. Covid-19 examinations were carried out on a crew member, for which reason the mandatory preventive isolation was ordered for the entire crew of the ship for 14 days. No other member of the ship's crew has disembarked and sanitary security actions have been applied in harmony with the protocols established by the emergency. The vessel has been in quarantine on the recommendation of the Ministry of Public Health since March 24, a state in which it will remain until April 6.
