Vessel towed to Bergen
The 'Eemslift Ellen', en route from Avonmouth to Bergen, got its propeller fouled by a rope in the Northsea on Oct 18 at aroud 8.15 p.m. (Lat. 59.6501 Lng. 2.8230). The ship requested assistance, and the Norwegian Coast Guard deployed the patrol vessel 'Sortland', which took the vessel in tow. Later it was transferred to a tug, chartered by the shipping company, which safely assisted the vessel to the quay in Bergen on Oct 20 at noon.
