Medevc off Petten
In the morning of May 5, 2022, the KNRM lifeboat 'Adriaan Hendrik' and the Coast Guard helicopter of North Sea Helicopters Vlaanderen were alerted for a resuscitation on board the 'Fairplay 27'. At that time, the tug was working together with the crane vessel 'Gulliver' near the Q4A platform, about 20 kilometers across from Petten. The Coast Guard helicopter was the first on the scene and dropped off the doctor on board the 'Fairplay 27'. The 'Adriaan Hendrik' arrived 45 minutes after the alarm and transferred two crew members aboard to assist the doctor. Once the patient was stabilized, he was prepared for transport to the Northwest Hospital in Alkmaar. Three hours after the alarm, the 'Adriaan Hendrik' was back on the beach of Egmond.
