Medevac off Puttgarden
In the night of Jan 26, 2019, at 9.30 p.m. a crew member of the "Fairplay 25" fell ill aboard the ship which was two miles east of Fehmarn insland. The DGzRS station Puttgarden was alerted and approached the tug with the lifeboat "Emil Zimmermann". Both ships met off the port, and the lifeboat went alongside. The patient was medically treated and the transferred aboard the boat in swells of 0,5 meters and wind force 3. An ambulance took the man to hospital once the lifeboat was back in port.
