Officer fell to death
The 31-year old third officer of the "Blu Tide" died in the morning of Feb 14, 2016, after falling from 12 meters height. The accident happened while the Ukrainian national was checking the life saving equipment, and a life raft inflated and threw him off balance. The vessel was docked in Veracruz and offloading a cargo of corn from New Orleans at that time.
