Armed perpetrators stole engine spares
On Dec 17, 2025, at 1.10 a.m., the 'Eco Diagon Alley', while underway in the eastbound lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme of the Singapore Strait, was boarded by three perpetrators, armed with batons, 5.4 nautical miles off Pulau Cula in pos. 1° 3,32' N 103° 37.38' E. While the crew was not injured, the intruders stole engine spares.
Half of the crew tested positive for COVID 19
11 of the 22 crew members of the 'Patras' were tested positive for the COVID 19 virus after the arrival from Alexandria at Yuzhniy on Aug 8, 2020. The ship was moored at the outer anchorage, and the crew underwent a medical screen, as several were found to have flu like symptoms. The ship has been moved to port and berthed at a quarantine pier with all crew on board. The 11 positive tested crew may be hospitalized. The whole crew was to be exchanged and the ship to be disinfected.
