on Mar 3, 2010, at 4.20 a.m. the Malta-flagged cargo m/v "Alexandra", 4096 gt (IMO:8876340) went adrift off Istanbul and was in danger of running aground on the way from Iskelesi to Rostov. The "Kurtarma 3", "Kurtarma 6" and "Kıyı Emniyeti 10" were called to assist and secured the ship at Ahırkapıya at 6.30 a.m. The crew of 13 was safe.
