Gener8 Maritime sells VLCC Gener8 Theseus for $81M to AET
New York-based Gener8 Maritime has done a deal to sell two of its very large crude carriers (VLCCs) – both built last year – to Malaysian owner AET. Gener8 is selling the 2016-built pair Gener8 Noble and Gener8 Theseus for $81m each.
Gener8 Maritime announces delivery of the Gener8 Theseus
Gener8 Maritime, Inc., a leading U.S.-based provider of international seaborne crude oil transportation services, announced that it took delivery of the "ECO" VLCC the Gener8 Theseus on November 28, 2016 from Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. The Gener8 Theseus represents the eighteenth of 21 "ECO" VLCCs expected to be delivered into Gener8 Maritime's fleet. Upon delivery, the Gener8 Theseus entered Navig8 Group's VL8 Pool.
