Detention in Mersin
The 'Dvina' was detained at Mersin on Dec 4, 2025,by inspectors from the Mediterranean Memorandum of Understanding following an inspection, during which 12 deficiencies, two of which were being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention. The checks had covered the accommodation area, the engine room and navigation bridge, as well as ballast tanks, outside decks and the steering room. Abandon ship and fire drills were conducted, during which the emergency fire pump, fire lines and hoses were found to have defiencies. The ship left the port on Dec 6 en route to Rostov on Don with an ETA as of Dec 14.
