Master medevaced off St. Augustine
The master of the "Miss Simona" suffered severe head pain and fainted in the night of Aug 29. 2016. The crew requested medical assistance 240 miles east of St. Augustine off Florida’s Atlantic coast. The 62-year old man was hoisted aboard an MH-60 helicopter at approximately 11 p.m. The man was transferred to EMS personnel at Orlando Executive Airport and transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center on Aug 30 at 1:20 a.m. The vessel resumed the voyage from Puerto Cabelle to Savannah.
