Contaminated bilge water polluted port waters
In the evening of June 14, 2017, bilge water leaked from the "Panurge", docked at Pyeongtaek port, polluting an area around the ship with an oil stain of some 25 meters length. The contamination was tackled by port workers, an environmental preotection team and patrol boats. Negligence of the crew was thought to have been the cause of the spill.
