Ship intercepted off Libya
The 'Aleksandr Ivanov', while proceeding from Abu Kir to Foynes was intercepted and detained by a Libyan National Army (LNA) patrol vessel in pos. 33 05 39.0 N, 022 01 24.0 E about 14 nautical miles northeast of Ras el Hilal on Feb 19, 2022, at 05.30 a.m. The vessel was detained for breaching the LNA 'No Sail Zone' and was escorted to the Ras el Hilal anchorage for administrative procedures.
