On the night of Aug 7, the SAR helicopter Helimer 402 carried out the medical evacuation of a passenger from the 'Disney Fantasy', en route from Vigo to A Coruña, which was sailing about 25 nautical miles from Porto do Son. The patient was transferred to the Alvedro Airport, where an ambulance was waiting for further transport to the CHUAC. The operation was coordinated by the CCS Fisterra of Salvamento Marítimo.

On May 12, a passenger was suffering from an urgent mecidal issue and needed to be medevaced from the 'Disney Fantasy', while the ship was heading toward Lisbon, during the ship’s 13-night sailing, a one-way transatlantic cruise from Port Canaveral to Barcelona. On May 14, a military helicopter approached the ship in the early evening. An emergency responder was loweredon to the foreship. The patient was loaded onto a lift basket, and both were raised up to the helicopter. Once the basket had been safely loaded into the helicopter, the aircraft took the affected individual to more extensive land-based care. The USCG successfully evacuated a pregnant passenger from the 'Disney Fantasy' on April 15, 2024, in a long-distance operation 180 milesnorthwest of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, while the ship was en route from Port Canaveral to Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. The 35 years old woman of US nationality, had experienced health complications that required a higher level of medical care ashore. The evacuation was carried out by a Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen MH-60T Jayhawk helicopter and an HC-144 Ocean Sentry aircraft. Once theys arrived, the Jayhawk aircrew deployed a rescue swimmer, while the Ocean Sentry monitored the conditions and provided support. The woman and the cruise ship doctor were successfully hoisted aboard the aircraft and then transported first to the Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicci Airport in San Juan, then taken by local emergency personnel to a nearby hospital. The 'Disney Fantasy' was sailing a 7-night Eastern Caribbean itinerary and was northwest of Aguadilla on Puerto Rico’s northwestern coast at the time of the evacuation. The 'Disney Fantasy' suffered a technical issue with the propulsion system in the evening of Sep 7, 2023. The issue has resulted in the ship skipping its planned call to Castaway Cay and instead returning directly to Port Canaveral in order to debark on schedule. The technical issue has resulted in a loss of speed and impacted the vessel's itinerary.
