Dharma-Rucitra-1

The KMP 'Dharma Rucitra I', en route from Surabaya to Trisakti Port, Banjarmasin, was in collision with the barge Butun' in the mouth of the Barito River in the territorial waters of the Province of South Kalimantan in the afternoon of Feb 11, 2023. The barge, loaded with coal, was towed by tug 'MBP 2202' (IMO: 9953602). The ferry suffered bow damage at port side. After the incident, the 'Dharma Rucitra I' arrived safely at Trisakti Port, Banjarmasin. No injuries were reported. The accident was under further investigation of the South Kalimantan Police Ditpolair.
