Perpetrators stole engine spares
The 'Delta Maria', en route from Gdansk to Ulsan with an ETA as of Oct 7, 2025, was boarded by three perpetrators 4.4 nautical miles off Pulau Cula, in the Straits of Malacca and Singapore, in pos. 1° 3.35' N 103° 38.43' E, on Sep 30 at 1.20 a.m.m while underway in the eastbound lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme of the Singapore Strait. One crew member was tied up. The intruders stole engine spares.
Tanker involved in rescue operation off Gavdos
On June 13, 2016, the "Delta Maria" was called to assist jointly with the Panama flagged container m/v "MSC Marta" after a migrant boat with about 200 people on board got in distress around 120 kilometers south of Gavdos island. After an emergency call was received, the Greek Coastguard requested nearby ships to join the rescue operation.
